Shipment / Delivery

1. Delivery

We mail the products you purchased solely under your instructions. By instructing us to send your purchased products by whatever methods, including but not limited to those contained in Local Delivery Service or International Delivery Service below, you automatically assume all responsibilities for, including but not limited to shipping charges, tax, VAT, customs duties, and so on. Any kind of delivery will have certain risks.  When goods are passed to the carrier, the risks are borne by the buyer.  You also hold us harmless from any claims, whether incidental or consequential, that may arise from shipping the purchased products under your instructions and on behalf of you.

1.1 Local Delivery Service

Areas at service and reference delivery charges will vary from different products and quantities. Separate email regarding delivery charges will be sent to you. No delivery charges will be shown in the shopping cart while placing order.  Under normal situation, we arrange to ship all orders within 2 working days after the order and delivery charges paid and while stock lasts, to the destination provided by you.  Each order will be delivered to ONE destination only.  The delivery service will not be provided if the postal address is a Post Box or Post Office.  Delivery to remote areas is subject to availability of services provided by courier and additional charges may occur.  You are responsible for purchasing insurance for the products being delivered. 

1.2 International Delivery Service

Countries at service and reference delivery charges will vary from different products and quantities. There are shipping options available, Fedex, EMS, Airparcel. The former two are traceable and will normally reach your location in less than a week worldwide. The latter one is flat-rate airmail or airparcel. This is not traceable, not guaranteed delivery time, and will take anywhere up to 2-3 weeks to arrive. Under normal situation, we arrange to ship all orders within 1 working day after the order and delivery charges are paid and while stock lasts, to the destination provided by you.  Each order will be delivered to ONE destination only.  The delivery service will not be provided if the postal address is a Post Box or Post Office.  Delivery to remote areas is subject to availability of services provided by courier and additional charges may occur.  We will not bear any taxes, customs duties, VAT and other charges in the destination country, so you will be responsible for those in addition to the shipping charges.  You are responsible for purchasing insurance for the products being delivered.  Please be reminded that we will not be responsible for any decline of import by the destination country. You are responsible for indemnifying us by repaying the return delivery charges from the destination country back to us.

1.3 Change of Delivery Address

Please email (info@mikadoasia.com) us if you want to change your delivery address after order confirmation. You may have to pay for the extra cost incurred. Once the order is dispatched to the courier, we will not accept any request for the change of delivery address. We are not responsible for any loss it might incur to you.

 

2. Self Pick-Up

You can choose the self pick-up option for the online order or authorize someone on your behalf to pick up the order.

2.1 Self Pick-Up

Once your order is ready for pick-up, we will inform you the pick-up details. You are required to print the order confirmation and have it with you to our office for picking up your order. If you forgot to bring your order confirmation with you, we might request you to produce your HKID card for verification in order to protect your interest from any unauthorized collection.

2.2 Authorized Collection

You may authorize someone on your behalf to collect the order for you. You are required to provide the order confirmation and your authorization letter to your representative. The name and HKID Card number of the authorized representative have to be written in your authorization letter together with copy of your HKID card. We will request your representative to produce his / her HKID Card for verification.

2.3 Collection Hours

3. Change of Delivery Method

3.1 Once the order is dispatched to the courier, we cannot accept any request for the change of delivery method, including change of other courier or change from courier delivery to self-pick up.

3.2 If you insist on changing the delivery method to self pick-up, we may arrange for that only if the order has not been dispatched. However, the paid delivery charge will not be refunded. We reserve the right to deny any change request once the order is confirmed and will not be responsible for any loss it might incur to you.

 

4. Damaged Package / Defective Products

4.1 Damaged Package

4.1.1 Under our claim policy, damaged or lost shipment can only be claimed under the following conditions:

a. If a package has been damaged in shipping, please REFUSE to accept the damaged package on spot. We cannot accept any replacements if you already signed receipt of the package.

b. The package is duly certified in writing as damaged by the courier who sent the package.

No claims will be entertained out of the criteria above.

 

Be sure to take photos and save all paperwork and packing materials with the damaged goods. The courier may inspect them before processing the replacement. Please report the case to the courier and us (info@mikadoasia.com) immediately.

4.1.2 You should return the damaged products and delivery invoice under the replacement procedure as instructed by your insurance agent to respective party for investigation, in order to process the claim.

4.1.3 All shipping charges incurred are to be borne by the customer.

4.1.4 Declared value but not the actual value of the goods will count when any claims occurred.

4.1.5 If insurance is not purchased by the buyer, compensation subject to courier/ delivery service provider.

 

4.2 Defective Products

4.2.1 Please check your order and items as soon as it is received. If you discover that an item is manufacture defective prior to use, please report to us (info@mikadoasia.com) immediately and return the defective items together with all paperwork, packing materials, delivery invoice and certificates of proof to us within 7 days of receipt to process the inspection or redemption. Defects found after 7 days need to be claimed directly with the manufacturer. These items will then be repaired or replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion. No claims will be entertained if the items have been used.

4.2.2 After investigation the returned defective products, we reserve the right to reject the replacement/exchange request.

4.2.3 All shipping charges incurred are to be borne by the customer.

4.2.4 Declared value but not the actual value of the goods will count when any claims occurred.

 

 

4.3.1 If the exchange/replacement after investigation is accepted, the purchased products will be replaced or exchanged for another item of the same value on our own discretion. The exchange/replacement for that order can be done for ONCE only. We cannot accept returns after 7 days of receipt or if the products have been used.

4.3.2 Please be reminded that we will not be responsible for any damage or lost of products occurred by postal failure.  Customer has to lodge inquiry and claim to the respective courier / delivery service provider by themselves.

 

4.3.3 Please be reminded that the courier / delivery service provider will count on the declared value not the actual value of the goods when any claims occurred. If insurance is not purchased by the buyer, compensation subject to courier/ delivery service provider.

 

5. Remarks

5.1 All items are available while stock lasts. No prior notice will be post for any out-of-stock products.

5.2 Delivery will only be proceeded upon payment received and while stock lasts.

5.3 We reserve the rights to change the products information and price, delivery/shipment statement, charges and shopping terms and conditions anytime without prior notice.

5.4 We reserve the right to make all final decisions if any dispute arises.
